ALIGARH, September 15: Three Subject Refresher Courses (SRC) were launched today by UGC Academic Staff College, Aligarh Muslim University, Interdisciplinary SRC in research methodology in Social Science, SRC in History and Orientation programme. Around eighty participants from UP, Assam, Maharashtra, Uttrakhand, rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand are enrolled these courses.

In the inaugural session Prof. A.R. Kidwai, Director, UGC Academic Staff College, AMU exhorted these universities and college teachers to strive for academic excellence and communal harmony and social justice and thus fulfill the roll of being an ideal teacher and a responsible citizen of a great country.
Prof. Asmer Beg, Department of Political Science and Dr. Afzal Khan, Department of History are Course Coordinator of SRC in Social Science and History respectively while Prof. A.R. Kidwai is Corse Coordinator of Orientation Programme. These courses will be concluded on 6th October and 11th October respectively.
