ALIGARH, December 28: The Silver Jubilee function of Re-Union 85 batch of MBBS, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University was celebrated in the Medical College premises. In the morning “Meet-the-teachers” programme was organized. The audience included retired teachers, current senior teachers and the alumni of 85th Batch who came from far and wide like USA, UK, UAE and different places of India.
In his welcome address Dr. Afzal Anees, Reader, Department of Surgery emphasized that this reunion is between the members of 85 batch and the alma matter and the reunion would strengthen the teacher-pupil relationship.
Prof. Mehdi Hasan, Retired Professor of Anatomy, JNMC was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Dean Faculty of Medicine, Prof. S. Abrar Hasan, Principal and CMS Prof. Ashraf Malik and the senior and retired teachers were overwhelmed with the love and affection demonstrated by the doctors of 85th Batch. While addressing the audience, the Chief Guest said that students are my strength. Appreciating the spirit behind organization of this function he said that he had attended such a function for the first time. Dr. Namrata Bhardwaj, Gynaechologist proposed a vote of thanks.
