A Student of +2 has been selected for the U-19 Indian Railways team.

ALIGARH October 22: Mr. Tahmeed Ahmad, student of XII, Aligarh Muslim University has been selected for the U-19 Indian Railways team. The selection trial for the said team was held in three phases, Divisional in Allahabad, Zonal in Agra and finally All India at New Delhi. More than 300 aspirants participated in each of these trials.

A 15-day trial camp of 30 players was held at New Delhi after which the team was finally selected.

Prof. Tariq Mansoor, Secretary Games Committee has congratulated Mr. Tahmeed on his selection and hoped that he would bring laurels to the University.
